Mount Fuji is the most famous, and most photographed mountain in Japan. In fact, its snow-capped cone shape is so perfect and so often photographed, most people are familiar with Mount Fuji without even knowing it.

Physical Characteristics
Mount Fuji measures 12,388 ft/3,776 m. It's technically an active volcano, although it hasn't erupted since the early 1700s.
