Martin Goodman Trail
The Martin Goodman Trail is a recreational-use trail that runs along or near the shore of Lake Ontario. It extends about 20 km, from the Humber River in the west to Beaches Park in the east.
In most places, the trail is paved, and separate from vehicle traffic. In a few spots, most notably right in downtown Toronto near the Harbourfront and Queens Quay areas, the bike path is on the road, though a sidewalk exists for pedestrians and Rollerbladers.
Sights along the way include (from west to east):
-
Humber Bay Park
-
Sir Casimir Gzowski Park

The Martin Goodman Trail connects with other parks and trails, including most notably the Don River trail. (To get there, cross to the north side of Lakeshore Boulevard when you reach Cherry Street. There you'll find another trail that leads you to the Don River.)
Martin Goodman makes up part of the Waterfront Trail, which extends 900 kilometres from Niagara -on-the-Lake to the Quebec border, along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. (Parts of the trail have yet to be joined with each other.)
