Whenever speaking over a marine radio and transmission is difficult or isolated letters or groups of letters need to be pronounced seperately the phonetic alphabet should be used to expedite clear communication.

Below is the phonetic alphabet:

A - ALPHA
B - BRAVO
C - CHARLIE
D - DELTA
E - ECHO

F - FOXTROT
G - GOLF
H - HOTEL
I - INDIA
J - JULIETT
K - KILO
L - LIMA
M - MIKE
N - NOVEMBER
O - OSCAR
P - PAPA
Q - QUEBEC
R - ROMEO
S - SIERRA
T - TANGO
U - UNIFORM
V - VICTOR
W - WHISKEY
X - X-RAY
Y - YANKEE
Z - ZULU

Dude, that video is hysterical.
But crazy man says z for zebra, and the list here says zulu. Which one's right?

He seems to be talking about the aviation phonetic alphabet. Perhaps that explains the difference in the "z" for zebra vs. "z" for zulu in the marine alphabet.
