The Alpine Club of Canada is Canada's national mountaineering organization. 

Membership in the club ranges from $36 to $143 a year, depending on the type and any upgrades chosen. Upgrades include things like receiving the Canadian Alpine Journal, or access to the club’s huts. According to the club’s site (as of September 2007): “A basic, single unaffiliated membership with the huts upgrade is $58 a year for Canadian residents”

The ACC publishes newsletters, organizes trips, activities, socials and courses

The club is based in Canmore, Alberta, and has local sections across Canada. It was founded in 1906, and currently has more than 5,000 members.

The ACC operates 28 alpine huts across Canada. They include:
