The Gull River runs near the town of Minden, Ontario, Canada, and is the site of the Minden Wildwater Preserve, a natural, narrow stretch of whitewater river that was modified for optimal slalom kayak and canoe racing.

The Gull River flows through Gull Lake and into Balsam Lake, which forms part of the Trent-Severn Waterway. It was once part of a log run, where white pine and other felled timber would be floated downstream to a sawmill.
