Rob on the Water
Hey hey paddling fools. Here's what's up in the (very limited) paddling life of Rob M.

The end stretch of the Don. What? Can't see it? It's the ruler-straight line down the centre. Looks thrilling, doesn't it?
I'm psyched for ootboot, and psyched for the Ontario paddling season to get going. Barely go out at all in the last couple of years, but plan on being much more active now.
Today was the running of the OVKC Credit River Downriver Race. Looks like I missed it. But I've got a bunch of things on the calendar.

And then there's Paddle the Don. Anyone done that yet? (pls comment below) I'm afraid of the skanky water, but looking forward to getting some paddling time right smack in the middle of the city. I hear that with the extra water flow they get up to class three. Hope I don't have to roll. That river water in your nose might eat through to your brain.
Wish I could join you on Paddle the Don but am registered for the Sporting Life 10k that day with Anke. I better get out there and run!
