About: “I'm a pretty laid back kind of gal who adores my two teen-aged boys and loves the thrill of an adventure. When not working in my part-time position with my local police detachment, I can usually be found camping and hiking outdoors with camera in hand, digging through a rock pile looking for that perfect rock or mineral, at my computer generating story ideas, or simply driving my boys to their sporting and extracurricular events. When given the opportunity, I love to travel with my family or friends to new places. Sometimes sticking close to home can be just as gratifying as visiting a new country or city, however, and I take full advantage of any new experiences no matter where I end up. ”
