About: “Elizabeth Eve King has performed internationally in theater, comedy and dance. Elizabeth Eve is the recipient of two International Tides fellowships; one in 1998 to paint a mural for Escuelas Para La Vida, a in Cuneca, Spain and the second in 1999 to Tuscany, Italy, where she resided for a month of painting and study. She received two Earthwatch grants one to study natural dyes in Manitoba and in sustainable forestry Puerto Rico. She was an advisor at the J. Paul Getty’s and the Science Center’s, Art & Science Development program. She has been the Arts & Science Director for Esperanza Community Housing Corporation (ECHC) since 1997. Her landmark mural A Meeting of Minds (121' X 33') on the facade of El Mercado La Paloma ("The Dove" Public Market) in downtown Los Angeles. She was the science coordinator in Bosnia with Global Children’s Organization (GCO) in a summer camp for war orphans and refugees, sponsored by GCO and the Tides Foundation in 2000. ”
